[edit]Illustrations needed for article MARIE WARDER
[edit]I have been trying for nealy three months to upload an image of Tom Warder from http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Mandolin_players, but nothing works! Futhermore, files uploaded into Commons by his wife, Marie Warder, at my request(in order that I mighy be able to use them in my article) cannot be found anywhere. Finally images were uploaded to Flickr - and still we cannot locate them.

- Hello Murella, first: this is the wrong place to ask, but I answer here to not confuse you even more. The correct place for next time to get help is at Commons:Help desk.
- You have never uploaded any image with this account. What are the file names of the files your wife did upload? Or what is the account name of your wife?
- Regarding flickr: if you upload something to flickr it is on flickr and not here - flickr and Commons are not connected. However, if you tell us the URL/internet address of the files on flickr we can import them here if you licensed them with a CC license and you photographed the image by yourself.

- The poster might mean this one: File:Tom Warder Mandolin.jpg moved from the English Wikipedia. Global contributions: [1] -84user (talk) 09:56, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
I moved it to here since the old page was wrong. Cheers --Saibo (Δ) 22:50, 16 November 2010 (UTC) Thank you for doing this - and for letting me know.
File:Tom_Warder_27_Squadron_South_African_Air_Force,_1943_.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

It's a pity that you deleted his page. It would also be a shame if you deleted the photo.
Frederick Abinger (Tom) Warder, was the husband of Marie Warder, and the World's Best-known Hemochromatosis patient. In his honor, May - the month of his birthday has been proclaimed as International Hemochromatosis Awareness Month.
I found this on the Internet. It is on Facebook and also on Twitter.
