Statement : I uploaded quite a lot of images on Commons. Each time I come back, I discover that some have been erased on a quite always unclever legal basis : as I don't come often, I never have a chance to explain why the image can stay (I can also be wrong, though, but the way it is done is so brutal that it just feels like an insult).
This decided me not to upload anything anymore. If you wish to erase a picture, do consider me voting with you !

I come here mostly to put images that will be used on the french-speaking wikipedia.
I don't check my discussion page here every day, so feel free to contact me there.

There's a little problem on commons : most of the uploaders are not regularely on Commons (although they might be involved in other wikimedia projects) and the regular commons haunters seems to be people wwho can't find their own use with any other action than deletionism. Right, it's much more easier to put a deletion template on a page than to understand a situation or to read a user page. So, my friends, stop writing on my discussion page, I'll never read what's there in time to fix the problems (a 130 years old picture deleted because it's "PD" and not "PD-Old" !? Damn... thinking is way too hard for some. So, again, don't write to me, just delete, delete, delete, that's fine with me. Jean-no (talk) 15:46, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
