- FYI Jpeg version fixed. And before someone asks, these are monofilament polymers (manmade fibers) extruded criss-cross and fused together (the "lumps") into a mesh, probably using heat (textured heated roll, working kind of like thousands of low-watt spot welding tools). The fibers are photographed in polarized light and that gives them lots of colors same as with this. --Cart (talk) 15:09, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
