Training Course is a game mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It acts as an introductory training level for the games, teaching the player basic and advanced maneuvers.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III[]
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, it takes place exclusively on the map Quarry, and is accessed through the Private Match option. It teaches the player basic movements, shooting skills, and about Killstreaks.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6[]
Multiplayer[]
In multiplayer, it takes place exclusively on the map Protocol. The player starts out by meeting with Woods, who also acts as the player's guide through the various training courses. Each training course is marked by a flag. There are 7 training courses, with an 8th course being unlocked by completing the first seven. At any point, the player can redo a training course they have already completed. Once the player has done all 8, they may leave either through the pause menu or by talking to Woods again.
Zombies[]
Training Course was added to Zombies mode via an update. It only has 7 training courses focused around round-based Zombies gameplay, and is narrated by the Arsenal machine's drill sergeant voice instead. It takes place exclusively on the map Liberty Falls.
