Combat Pacing is a feature available in Call of Duty: Vanguard. It allows the player to change the amount of players in a match, by choosing the pacing before the match starts.
Overview[]
There are three types of Combat Pacings available in Call of Duty: Vanguard, those being Tactical, Assault and Blitz.
On May 16th, 2022, the Combat Pacings were modified and the Assault Pacing was removed from the game. The Assault Pacing was only chose by 5% of the players.[1]
Tactical[]
Tactical Pacing is the default pacing in which most maps and modes support to max 6 players per team.
Originally, on smaller maps such as Shipment, it supported 4v4.
Assault[]
Assault Pacing was the middle option supporting a max of 10 players per team. Shipment supported 6v6.
Blitz[]
Blitz Pacing is the fastest pacing in the game supporting between 10 and 14 players per team. Maps such as Shipment, Das Haus and Mayhem support 7v7 and 10v10.
