(Japanese: フレディ Freddy) is a minor character who appeared in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. He is not named in the English dub of the movie and is referred to as Glasses guy in the subtitles.
He attended the ball and banquet in honor of the new "Guardian of the Aura" and was present when Ash received the Hero's Staff from Queen Ilene. When the ball commenced, Freddy first danced with May, much to her enjoyment. May excused herself as she left to have her Pokémon join the ball.
When Jessie was dancing with James, Freddy interrupted them and took Jessie away to dance with her. He complimented her on her dancing, which made Jessie blush. Because of her infatuation, she started to dance very rough and wildly dragged Freddy across the dance floor.
Freddy briefly reappeared in a montage in The Rise of Darkrai, which chronicled the preceding nine movies.
