Hey, Chick Promotion - February

Hi stampers!  I'm blogging on a Tuesday, can you even believe it?  I did this in the car line, who knew THAT would up my productivity.  Not much else to do there!  Anyway I wanted to make sure to share this month's special promotion because it's adorable and so fun!

They are doing something I haven't seen them do in a long time!  They are bringing this stamp set back from last SAB!  Do you remember it?

For once, my hoarding paid off!  I dug around and found it!  If you didn't save it or didn't get it, don't worry!  You can order it, either by itself or with matching dies, WHAT?????  And if you do have it, you can get the dies ala cart as well.  Seriously, these are cute!  Look at that little hen house!  My mom loves chickens and had them for her whole childhood so I'll have to make her some cards!

And then they are introducing a special stamp set and set of dies to coordinate called Hey, Birthday Chick!  Just look!

HOW CUTE!  Even with the chicken with the poor balloon placement (we won't go there hehehehe)!

Anyway, this is a super fun promotion I think and you'll want to get your hands on it, no?  Make sure you're following Bababingpapercrafting over on Instagram where I'll share some more samples!  I'll leave you one that I made here!

Please contact me should you have any questions!

Fab Friday 105

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  I didn't do a lot of posting or stamping this week since we took a quick trip to my mom's house.  I'll try to get some things going over the weekend to share next week.  But it's time for a new challenge over at Fab Friday.

This week is a fun sketch.

I broke out my SAB chickens and the new embossing folder I recently got.

Doesn't it make the best chicken wire?  One of the very first SU stamps I got was the chicken wire background stamp!  I don't even know if I'll even emboss with this folder, ha!  It's so easy to just ink it up and press your cardstock on!  And I've said before, my granny had chickens and I loved them so I'm totally partial to this set!  I colored this little hen with blender pens and bermuda bay, tangerine tango, and peek a boo peach.  I totally meant to stamp her on watercolor paper and spaced out I guess.  She still worked out pretty well.  I also inked up my stamp first in versamark and then basic black and heat embossed with clear powder.  That's pretty much how I'm doing any image I plan on coloring now.

Make sure you check out what the rest of the DT did and play along with us, ok?

Happy stamping!

Fab Friday 103

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  It IS Friday, right? :-)  After being gone for two weeks and coming back in the middle of a week I'm totally confused.  Add in the fact that our gymnastics class is on break and I'm really off!  It's at least one way I can figure out what day it is!

Anyway, at least I have Fab Friday to keep me on track now!  We usually take the month of January off but we decided to keep the fun going this year!  Check out our sketch challenge!

Please excuse my lousy photo.  I was too tired to retake it the other night;-)

I love this little chicken set from SAB.  My granny always had chickens when I was growing up and my mom loves them too although she doesn't have any (we both wish she did but then she couldn't come visit us if she had to take care of them....).  So, I can't wait to send her some chicken cards!

The pop of pink DSP works great with the chickens I think.  I have to say, I ordered it solely for the black and white and not the pink ;-)  I colored this little lady with our new watercolor pencils and I really like them!

Make sure to check out what the rest of the design team did and play along with us!  Heck, make a resolution to play along all year :-D

Happy stamping!
