House Harclay is one of the northern mountain clans in the north. They live in the hills to the north of the wolfswood.[1]
According to semi-canon sources, they blazon their shield with three blue moons, waxing, full, waning, on a white bend, on blue.[2]

A Storm of Swords
Ronnel Harclay is a ranger of the Night's Watch and is part of the great ranging that sets out to fight Mance Rayder and look for Benjen Stark. After the fight at the Fist, Ronnel is among the remaining man who retreat to Craster's Keep. He commands the rangers after the death of Thoren Smallwood.[3]
Maester Aemon sends a raven to House Harclay in a plea for help to defend Castle Black from wildlings.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
King Stannis Baratheon travels to the northern mountains,[5] gaining the mountain clans[6] for his fight by Deepwood Motte[7] and march on Winterfell.[8]
