Gozo Shima (志摩剛造 Shima Gōzō) is the third son of the Shima family. He works overseas in a foreign branch of the True Cross Order.^[1]

Appearance[]

Gozo is much taller than the rest of his family, easily towering over Juzo and Kinzo. He has close shaven black hair with a scar on the right of his forehead, just at his hairline.

Personality[]

Gozo appears to be a lovely person, smiling constantly and being kind and careful about his family. He looks to be very loved and admirated by his brothers, especially by Kinzo who ran to him when he came back to Kyoto hug and told him he missed him. He described him as "so cool" too.^[2] He's shown to be very busy, and serious about his work.^[3]

Gozo was serving as a an exorcist at a overseas branch prior to Juzo and Mamushi's wedding.^[4]

Gozo's name (剛造), meaning "hard/strong," is in contrast with his older brother's name, Juzo (柔造), meaning "soft/gentle."
