The parents pictured in the game are not Tingle's real parents, but rather his storybook parents. They can be found on Page 1 at the beginning of the game, where Tingle wakes up on their farm. Tingle's father, who constructs the cannon that starts Tingle on his journey, is shown to have some mechanical skill, while Tingle's mother references tending to animals.
