Biography[]
Background[]
Part I[]
Renji lost Gofure on a rainy day, but finds him with Zatch going home to Kiyo's house, Gofure having befriended Zatch after an argument with Kiyo. However, his true power and form are revealed when his bookkeeper Renji appears at the Takamine residence and reads his spell, Doruk. Gofure grows and attacks Zatch, and they engage in battle with Kiyo and Zatch in an attempt to burn Zatch's book. The two of them attempt to fight back, but with bitter emotions still between them, Gofure and Renji easily dominate them. Just as they are about to finish them off, Brago and Sherry step in, defeating Gofure with a single Reis and leaving him in his puppy form, powerless on the floor. Brago orders a terrified Renji to leave the book and go, and he complies, with Brago burning his book off-screen. Their exact placement is unknown, but in the manga they were one of the first 24 mamodo to be eliminated.
During Zatch's battle with Clear Note, Gofure is seen supporting Zatch along with other Mamodo. He is also seen in a picture with all the Mamodo sent with Zatch's letter to Kiyo.
Gofure has the distinction of being the first non-humanoid Mamodo to make an appearance.
Due to Gofure's friendliness to Zatch, the difference between his normal form and his transformed self, and his visible fear when Renji approaches, it is possible that he is a Mamodo like Kolulu, whose belligerent personality was given to him for the battle.
Gofure's starting location in the Human World was in Japan.
