Levnises are a type of machines in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. They act as heavy artillery or troop or equipment transporter for each nation.

Appearance and properties[edit]

Kevesi Levnises are black and mechanical, while Agnian Levnises are white and unmanned and are controlled remotely, known as Auto-Levs. People from the City also uses Levnises, albeit rarely, the only known City Lenvises are the Armory and the Automatons, the latter is an unmanned Levnis. Levnises cannot be used to take life from Kevesi and Agnians; their only purpose is to weaken them enough to be killed by a Blade. Colony 0's Ferrons, a hybrid of a Levnis and a Ferronis are a special type of Levnis that is fueled by life energy from the Flame Clock component on its center. Mechafriend is a unique Levnis that is not built for combat, rather than protect its master.

Kevesi Levnis[edit]

Auxilia[edit]

Auxilias are middle sized combat Levnises with four legs and two arms equipped with a pointy blade.

Centuris[edit]

Centuris are large combat Levnises with four tall legs and two arms. They carry a laser cannon on the right arm and a three-fingered claw on the left arm.

Equites[edit]

Equites are middle sized combat Levnises with two short legs and two arms, all four equipped with wheels. They have a long tooth-like blade attached to their jaw. Cannons can be attached to their back.

Gastrates[edit]

Gastrates are large combat Levnises with two sturdy legs and two arms equipped with three-fingered claws. They carry a large cannon attached to their body by their tail.

Sagittarius[edit]

Sagittarius are middle sized combat Levnises with four legs and two arms. They carry a shield on the right arm and a cannon resembling a sword on the left arm.

Speculatos[edit]

Speculatos are small combat Levnises with four legs and two arms equipped with a rotary saw blade. They are a smaller version of the Velites.

Transport[edit]

Transport Levnises are vehicles walking on six legs, with a cargo container acting as their belly. They are used to transport supplies.

Velites[edit]

Velites are middle sized combat Levnises with four legs and two arms equipped with a rotary saw blade. They are a larger version of the Speculatos.

Avis[edit]

Avises are middle sized combat Levnises composed with a sphere, a torso and two arms with blades. They are standard issued Levnises.

Balaenas[edit]

Balaenas are large transport Levnises that act as boats. They are exclusively used on Erythia Sea.

Gyrinus[edit]

Gyrinus are large machines with slim arms and an emblem-like decoration on their backs. They are Castle-issued Levnises.

Lepus[edit]

Lepuses are large combat Levnises with four arms and a one-horned head. They can grab enemies, dig into the ground, fire lasers through their fingertips, as well as fire their entire upper hands.

Testudo[edit]

Testudos are middle sized combat Levnises with two fan-shaped arms and half sphere shoulders equipped with three cannons each, attached to their body with ether links.

Ferron[edit]

Ferrons are a special Ferronis-Levnis hybrid. They are powered by life energy that runs on their Flame Clocks or alternatively, Ether Cylinders. Colony 0 are the only ones who utilized Ferrons for the purpose of black ops to keep the war between Keves and Agnus in check.

Incomplete Siege-Lev[edit]

The Incomplete Siege-Lev is an incomplete Levnis that was built by Valdi. It was later destroyed after it was hijacked by Consul Q in an attempt to destroy the party. It is rebuilt into Dorrick.

Mechapod Carthegia[edit]

Mechapod Carthegia is a highly sophisticated Lepus with a perfect safety mechanism around its power system. It is deployed at Lavi Sandbar as part of the Lavi Sandbar Platoon. It is destroyed during A Burning Curiosity, Part 2 to retrieve its Photonic Condenser for Ymeer.

Robobuddy[edit]

Robobuddy is an Armadillo with pink accents instead of the usual yellow-green. She is retrieved by Valdi while she was on patrol near Colony 30, and modified to not detect Kevesi as enemies. She is hijacked by Consul Q to gather poisonous materials, and is detroyed when she attacks Colony 30 during Inescapable Past.
