Sir Desmond Arthur Pond (2 September 1919 - 29 June 1986) was a British psychologist. He served as Chief Scientist, Department of Health and Social Security, 1982 to 1985,and was knighted in 1981.
He delivered the Goulstonian Lecture to the Royal College of Physicians in 1961 on the subject of the Psychiatric Aspects of Epileptic Brain-damaged Children[1]
