Mavrik Geyer (/ɡaɪər/) (born 5 January 2001) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row forward for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL.
Background
[edit]Geyer is the son of former professional rugby league footballer Mark Geyer and Meagan née Alexander. His uncles Matt Geyer, Greg Alexander, and the late Ben Alexander were also professional rugby league footballers.[2]
Geyer attended St Dominic's College, Penrith.[3]
Playing career
[edit]In round 4 of the 2024 NRL season Geyer made his first grade debut for the Penrith Panthers in their 16–22 win against the Sydney Roosters.[4] Geyer's debut was exactly 40 years to the day after his uncle Greg Alexander debuted for Penrith in 1984.[5]
