English: Polythene Field Newly laid polythene sheeting on ploughed field just north of Stonebridge Norfolk. This is known as Floating Row Cover it provides crop protection against bad weather, cold, wind and insects. It creates a thermal effect for growing plants by increasing temperature and maintaining humidity. |
