Dutch currency before euro (Dutch Guilder): where to sell old Dutch currency and what should you know about it? (English)
    5 December 2021
Guilder has been reintroduced as the official means of payment in 1817. The major difference, as compared to the pre-occupation coin was its decimalization. From now on, one guilder was equal to 100 cents, as opposed to the past, when it could have been divided into 20 stuivers, each of whom was 8 duiten. (English)
