regular expression (Q185612) appears borked?
[edit]Case in point: To Be or Not to Be (Q43128737) and its value to-be-or-not-to-be--1 – it correctly points to the video game page, but its current regex ^[a-z\d]+(\-[a-z\d]+)*$
doesn't recognise it, and I'm not sure why. Removing [\^\$]
makes the double dash not match.
EDIT [05:30, 1 September 2024 (UTC)]: https://isthereanydeal.com/steam/app/2190290/ (inferred from 2190290) redirects to that URL, further confirming it's correct.
Thank you, 83.28.217.24 04:00, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
Done. I rewrote the regex based on the current affected identifiers, if there will be more false positives in the future we can just simplify it. Regards Kirilloparma (talk) 00:40, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
Alternative identifier
[edit]There seems to be an alternative UUID/numeric identifier for entries in this catalog: https://isthereanydeal.com/game/id:018d937f-3a80-7156-8ccd-9ccda6d81130/
This can be found with Inspect Element. Might be more stable than the current scheme. -wd-Ryan (Talk/Edits) 00:18, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
