DreamHack Atlanta 2017 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee major and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U supermajor that took place from July 21st-23rd, 2017 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the third event in the DreamHack Smash Championship 2017 season, a series spanning events in North America and Sweden and featuring $100,000 in prize money in total.

Trivia[edit]
- DreamHack Atlanta was the first Melee tournament with at least 2 gods (The Five Gods + Leffen) attending that was won by a non-god since Don't Go Down There Jeff in December 2010 (although Mango was sandbagging under his Scorpion Master alias at the latter).
- Plup humorously broke his trophy by accident after winning the event, though it was later replaced.
