The movie starts with the story of a little Indian girl, whose mother is cruel to make her blind for money, then start with Dr. Wang's story from now and memories in China, which shows what happened to people during when Cultural Revolution in China, we should feel lucky we didn't grow up in these kind situations, change the angle of view, maybe that why Dr. Wang so excellent in the ophthalmology field because he's parents and experience. Anyway, this is new technology to make the blind see the world, the unique placenta contact lenses help people to fix various difficult diseases, which include cataracts, glaucoma, presbyopia and especially blindness...This is good news for humanity, and the most touching movie of this century.

All of this is laid out in competent commonplace fashion, with the principal actors Terry Chen, Greg Kinnear and the always welcome Fionnula Flanagan displaying the expected professionalism.
The film is based on a true story. Through its narrative, viewers can resonate with the characters, learning how to face challenges positively and persistently strive to achieve their dreams. At the heart of all this are love, kindness, and resilience.

A truly wornderful movie which touched me so deeply that I bursted into tears for a few times, not only beause of the multiple feelings between the painful memory and cold reality, but also the continued challenges to the bright successful points from all kinds of **** ARE IN THE SAME PAGE when we can not control things to be done in a good way. SIGHT gives us a better way to go over all the challenges and darkness in an angel view. I REALLY APPRECIATE DR. WANG GAVE US A BETTER VIEW ABOUT CHINESE DEVELOPMENT VALUE IN AMERICAN CAREER OPPORTUNITY AND MUTUAL BENEFITS. Strongly recommend every family to watch this movie. It's worthy to be reviewed.

I saw the movie when Dr. Wang tried to promote it at the Stony Brook University auditorium. I brought my son and my husband to see it. The story is very inspirational. Even my husband, who is Italian American, was inspired. He is 67 and currently works as a physical therapist while studying for his PhD. He faces the challenge of being older than everyone else in his class. After watching the movie, he told me, "If Dr. Wang can do it, I can do it too." This movie is very inspirational. Unlike typical Hollywood movies that make you laugh temporarily, this film can have a lasting impact on your life.
