Fast forward to today—we've put more than 200 billion batteries in the hands of people worldwide! 💙 We're still at it because these tiny powerhouses don't just keep your stuff running—they're little packages of possibility that might just spark the next big thing! 🌟 #Battery #Retro #History #LegacyBrand #TimelessBrand #TrustedForGenerations

At Panasonic, we believe this year's IWD was more important than ever – and more than just a celebration, it was a call to action. 📢💜 Whilst gender equality is central to the Sustainable Development Goals* (SDGs) and plays an important role in the workplace, recent challenges around the world have pushed diversity backwards. This makes it even more crucial to stand together, honor women's achievements, and seek more equality and inclusion. That’s why we were so happy to host two esteemed academic thought leaders, Cécile Emery, Ph.D. and Prof. Dr. Brooke A. Gazdag, for an exclusive discussion with Panasonic employees. Their expertise in leadership and diversity shone a light on the tangible actions we can take to create environments where everyone — regardless of gender — has a sense of belonging. Because real change starts with all of us🤝 Curious about what a “cake recipe” has to do with inclusion? Watch the video below to discover a unique perspective on how small actions can make a big and lasting impact. 🎥 Together. Action. Progress. #PanasonicEurope #IWD2025 #WomensAchievements #GenderEquality *https://lnkd.in/dWwRQrsf
We are advancing projects to operate our factories worldwide using 100% renewable energy. We have recently begun test operations at a factory in the UK that assembles xxx. What do you think it is? 😊 *Please choose the answer in the survey. The right answer is… ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ Microwaves! *100% renewable energy-powered factory is in the comments section. We have commenced test operations of a demonstration system that powers the entire microwave assembly factory with renewable energy. The renewable energy system integrates a hydrogen fuel cell, solar panels, and battery storage. The heat produced from power generation by pure hydrogen fuel cells will be used for factory heating and hot water supply, which will further decrease overall power consumption. Within Europe, a region at the forefront of environmental initiatives, this project represents a groundbreaking effort to achieve 100% renewable energy-powered factory operations through on-site power generation using green hydrogen and the coordinated control of three energy sources. Konosuke's “Passion at 86" - Starting All Over Again In January 1981, Konosuke Matsushita, the founder of the Panasonic Group, at the age of 86, announced his plan to relocate to the US, saying “I want to bring back my youthful enthusiasm, revisit our founding philosophy, and start from square one in the US." 📢 His plans were strongly disapproved from the people around him, concerned about the risks associated with his advanced age, and he was compelled to announce the cancellation of his plan. Despite the setback, he never lost his motivation and finally left for his two-week stay in the US, accompanied by his doctor in November. 🛫 Konosuke assembled the executives from all over the US to the head office of Matsushita Electric Corporation of America (at the time) and shared his hopeful vision of the company's future. Although the assembly was held on a holiday, the non-management employees came to the office, eager to hear what Konosuke had to say, and gathered in the cafeteria to watch live video of his speech. 👀 Please enjoy the full story that captures the ambition pursued by Konosuke for a start all over again and his leadership that motivated employees. 👇 https://ow.ly/YyMj50VfmBU *This article is available in Chinese, German and French by machine translation. "No one can grow alone. An organization as well can’t grow through the efforts of a single person. Every now and then, in our busy daily lives, we should stop and review our past trajectory and be thankful to every gift we have gained. This kind of thinking will be a source of power for future directions." ©PHP - Insights from #KonosukeMatsushita, the founder of Panasonic. #WordsOfWisdom #MondayMotivation #MotivationalQuotes
