Great Sound Stereo Speaker Manual: With Projects

While I was in college I went through a period where I did a lot of stereo speaker construction. This was one of the books I purchased during this time. Though technology has continued to improve and new products have hit the market, this book still provides a lot of good basic material on speaker construction. Even if one is only a consumer looking to purchase speakers it is helpful to know a little about the technology so one can speak to sales folk.

Chapters titles would be what one would expect when dealing with speakers; basics, enclosure types, porting, crossover construction, etc. The projects are also very interesting and the author takes time to do some interesting things like building a pair of speakers using tile and show more transmission line speakers (I've never seen anything on these anywhere else). show less
