Description

The Lory: Character in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, appearing in the chapters "The Pool of Tears" and "A Caucus-Race and a Long Tale." Its primary activity is to declare that it is older than Alice, but to refuse to tell its age. This part of the tale is little changed from the original in Alice's Adventures Underground, and it is generally agreed that the Lory is in fact Alice Liddell's sister Lorina Liddell (later Mrs. Skene).
