About the Author
Martin H. Raish was born and raised in southern California (before the eruption of freeways and strip malls) and eventually earned degrees from schools in four states, including an M.L.S. from Brigham Young University (BYU) and a Ph.D. in art history from the University of New Mexico. In 1988, he show more landed at Binghamton University in New York, where he served as a reference librarian and bibliographer and as coordinator for library instruction. In 1999, he returned to BYU as chair of the department of library instruction and information literacy. Raish is currently director of the David O. McKay Library at BYU in Idaho show less
