Saoirse Ronan's 2019 romantic drama, which fans hailed as 'one of the best movie adaptations of a book', is now ready for home viewing.
Directed by Barbie director Greta Gerwig, the drama is based on a renowned 19th-century novel and features an all-star cast.
The ensemble includes Oscar-nominated actors Timothee Chalamet and Florence Pugh, who were just beginning to gain mainstream recognition at the time of the film's debut, alongside former child actors Ronan and Emma Watson.
Fans of these actors will be delighted to know that Little Women is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
The film is an adaptation of the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, telling the tale of four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy - as they navigate their way through adolescence in Massachusetts, reports the Mirror.

Set during and after the American Civil War, the story has inspired numerous film and television adaptations over the years.
These include a 1933 version featuring Katharine Hepburn, an Oscar-winning 1949 film with Elizabeth Taylor, and a popular nineties version starring Winona Ryder.
However, critics regard Gerwig's interpretation of the Christmas story as the most faithful to the original material.
Following its premiere, the Academy Awards praised the adaptation, nominating Gerwig for the Best Adapted Screenplay of 2020. Little Women also earned Ronan a nomination for the Best Actress award.

Pugh was also recognised in the Best Supporting Actress category. The film received additional nominations for Best Costume Design, Best Music, and Best Picture.
In the end, it nabbed the Oscar for Best Costume Design.
Since its release over half a decade ago, moviegoers have been heaping praise on the book-to-film rendition.
One enamoured Rotten Tomatoes critic exclaimed: "This is one of the best movie adaptations of a book I have ever seen. I absolutely adore the book, and I was slightly apprehensive about the movie, but my expectations were absolutely blown away! I felt ALL the emotions watching this film."

Not to be outdone, platform pundits lauded the film with an impressive 95% rating, noting: "With a stellar cast and a smart, sensitive retelling of its classic source material, Greta Gerwig's Little Women proves some stories truly are timeless."
Another fan effused: "An utterly warm and cosy picture. Remakes or renditions of classic stories can oftentimes fall short on the mark- by either changing too much and taking away from the original story or trying to replicate too much. Greta, however, mastered creating such a beautiful rendition of this story that is close to perfection."
One IMDB user shared: "If you need a good cry watch Little Women. It's beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time."
Little Women is now on Prime Video.
