Mega channel introduced a rather peculiar series for the Greek standards starting mid season. With promising trailers and intriguing advertising, as usual in the Greek TV we expected a mediocre and eventually boring series.

But we were in for a "nasty" surprise... Real thriller scenes with hardcore social tragedies are what make this series the most original in Greek TV.... the series develops without being afraid to be classified (that's what it should be on IMDb)as Crime Drama Horror Mystery Thriller.... binding all the aforementioned genres into strong sequences of events , intriguing plots and amazing interpretations it has made quite an effect to the Greek audience... Its standards are high and it is by all means worth watching... definitely not for the average viewer as the episodes require wit so that the audience can fathom the mysteries by broadening their aspect of view..

The film THE WAVE is all about a project created in a German high school.The project is created by a rather open minded and modern professor who is chosen to teach autocracy for the specific project....

He asks his students one single question " Can facisism survive today?"

Most of the students were like "Of course not, it's democracy that's all around " and stuff similar to this.... That creates a great challenge to the professor who attempts to create a "team" with his class to show them what an autocracy means... So, he starts sort of encouraging them into this team where everyone is equal and all sorts of racism is absent.... but the team gets different than the rest of the school students, they think they are simply better than the others.. They decide that they should give their "team" a name... So they name it THE WAVE!

Through this unique movie/experience we get to know a lot of different things which are rather helpful in our everyday lives! we short of re-value fundamental principles who we might thing are dominant and cannot change.

The movie has got great cinematography, direction, production and casting including unique performances and disturbing thoughts. The characters are far from shallow and all of them show us that every personality is unique and while some change easily through manipulation because of their despair of being alone (Tim, Marco), others are totally different(Caro, Mona). Just watch the film!!! It is gonna give a lot of answers, be sure of that. It could well be in the "250 best movies" list. i really wonder why it is not already there!!!

This amazing TV show is simply fabulous.... Produced by Mega Channel it is one of the greatest productions in Greek TV history.... With fresh young, talented cast such as Faye Xila and Panagiotis Mpougoiuris, or the stunning Antigoni Drakoulaki and experienced veterans such as Danis Katranidis and Kostas Arzoglou. Under the charismatic look and fabulous script of the creator Elena Akrita everything is possible to happen!!!! Welcome to a war of contradictions, rich nd poor, good and evil, ambitious and altruists... Welcome to a world of crime, drama, romance, mystery and a bit of thriller!!! Blackmails, love, lost innocence, lawyers, criminals, furious businessmen, evil ladies, lethal secrets, guilty dreams and intrigue!!!!! It is just AWESOME.... EVERYBODY SHOULD WATCH THAT.............
