Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)
Meh.
Akwafinas character was extremely annoying and not funny at all with forced cringy humor which ruined the movie. The fact she picked up a bow and arrow for this first time in her life and helped saved the day was ridiculous.
The visuals were nice though and the fight scenes were nicely choreographed.
Lack of character of shang chi not that the acting was bad but he don't have a strong personality and there isn't anything interesting about him really.
The story was kinda of boring and the plot was kinda stupid.
The Green Knight (2021)
Waste of Time.
Very disappointing this movie seemed somewhat interesting but this movie is extremely boring and falls flat on its face.
The plot makes no sense and there is no character development whatsoever and the characters don't really have any meaning, not to mention it is extremely slow paced.
The movie has very little dialogue and some of the dialogue is very low with strong English accents so it's hard to unererstand what they are saying.
The ending was horrible, we didn't really find out what happened and just leaves is scratching our heads wondering what just happened.
If you enjoy watching a man walking around for majority of the movie and meaningless scenes with a terrible ending then this movie is right up your alley.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Overrated as hell
Don't see the appeal in this movie at all was extremely predictably and a few things didn't add up. Why did he bring the rock downstairs? what happend to the crazy guy? Why did the dad kill the guy? Lots of things do not add up and the acting is sub par and the writing is sub par. Mediocre at best and one of the most overrated movies of all time
Tenet (2020)
?
Just Watched this movie still trying to wrap my ahead around it is way too confusing.
Were just thrown into the action right away with choppy cut scenes, bullets flying and there in no explanation or backstory whatsoever, everything just happens. Nothing ever makes sense and nothing is ever explained.
The audio of this movie is embarrassing. You have characters whispering to each other with loud background music, so its nearly impossible to hear what they are saying.
The characters were boring and one dimensional, they had absolutely no background story whatsoever and a real lack of emotion was displayed.
This movie basically falls flat on its face, the movie could be interesting if it made sense but it did not.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Decent.
This movie could be so much more it just feels like a superhero movie with no back story really and not much depth. Although I enjoy the sciences between Tony Stark and Peter. The action is quite sub par and a couple of things dont make sense, like why is spiderman scared on top of the washington monument when he Constantly swings across buildings much taller in New York.
The humour is flat for the most part but their are a couple of decent lines.
The casting was questionable I Love Tom Holland as Spiderman and Michael Keaton as Vulture but the casting options of Flash and Ned I found really poor.
Keaton's performance as Vulture was great and an interesting character but it would be good if we got a backstory and knew why he was really doing this instead of just saying money.
22 Jump Street (2014)
Copy and Paste.
Exact same as first movie same story same everything. Really unfunny and one dimensional lame characters. Movie lacks any real humor or any depth or substance. The humor is really forced and comes off as extremely corny and cringy. That fact that this movie is rated a 7 is a joke.
Daddy's Home 2 (2017)
Horrible.
Like the first movie except no humour at all and way less enjoyable. The humor is extremely cringy and corny. Extremely boring movie
21 Jump Street (2012)
Tries hard to be funny, but fails.
This first time I saw this movie I though it was really funny but then again I was 13 at the time. This movie isn't funny but it is funny for 13 year olds. The humor felt forced at times and you cant force humour.
The action scenes were pretty lame and underwhelming despite it being a comedy.
Movie felt pretty rushed.
This movie felt corny and cringy half the time which made it hard to watch.
On the plus side the on screen chemistry between Channing Tatum and Jonah hill was pretty good.
Coach Carter (2005)
Great Movie.
The acting performance in this movie by Samuel L. Jackson was nothing short of phenomenal and all the other acting was great as well.
This movie has a deeper meaning in message in looking out for your team instead of just yourself and also the importance of education and finding success in life is more important than playing high school basketball.
The Character development of Cruz was amazing.
The scenes between Kenyon and his girlfriend were kinda corny and felt unnecessary at times.
Great movie, very enjoyable to watch. Also Has a couple of pretty fun moments.
Jusqu'au déclin (2020)
Okay
Good amount of tension, but Theres really no backstory whatsoever.
A couple things dont add up. Why didn't Rachel just shoot Dave and Alain when they were looking for them? What was the ending? Why didn't Rachel kill Alain?
Very short movie.
Braveheart (1995)
Masterpiece.
I love the music it fits the tone and setting of the movie perfectly.
The acting was superb, good action, and a movie that displays all kinds of emotion.
One of the greatest movies of all time.
The Highwaymen (2019)
Good, but Slow.
Haven't seen alot of Netflix movies but this is the best Netflix movie I have seen.
The acting of Woody Harreloson and Kevin Costner was superb.
The pace of the movie is quite slow and there were times were the movie was kinda boring.
I love the bathroom scene and the scene when they are playing cards and gives us a backstory of Gault and Hamer.
Bright (2017)
The Critics were right.
This movie just falls flat on its face. Were thrown into this world with humans, orcs, fairy's and elves living together and there's no backstory whatsoever.
The dialogue between characters was extremely cheesy and Corny.
I do like the visuals also the opening scene with the fairy was pretty cool.
Half of this movie are them being chased around for a magic wand lol. Stupid plot and story telling.
Daddy's Home (2015)
Stupid, Funny at times.
This movie is pretty stupid but it has its moments at times. I died laughing when Brad hit the cheerleader in the head with a basketball.
Contagion (2011)
Very Slow Movie, Very Sloppy
Movie is good for about first 30 minutes maybe. This movie is very slow slot of people opening doors and walking.
Lack of direction in film had hard time finding out what was happening sometimes.
This movie has like 6 main characters and there wasn't enough screen time for all of them. The movie should have been much longer if their going to have so many main characters.
The movie ended way too abruptly. We didn't find out what happened with the WHO worker who gave that chineese village a fake Vaccine and we dont learn what happened to Kate Winslet's character.
Not nearly enough emotion displayed in this movie, when Matt Damon's character's wife dies and stepson dies he displays no emotion.
I Do like the ending where they showed us wear the virus came from how it spread.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Okay
Acting was good all round I especially love the performance of cat woman by Anne Hathway.
There was a couple of plot holes. Batman gets destroyed by bane in a fight then comes back after doing a few pushups, situps and climbing out of a hole and he all of a sudden can beat Bane? The reveal was underwhelming and felt like It didn't really make a difference.
The 1st fight scene between Bane and Batman was probably the best fight scene of this triology but their second fight was extremely underwhelming.
I enjoyed the Ending although it could have been better.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Good, but Slightly Overrated.
I love the acting especially Heath ledger's performance of Joker. Action scenes had annoying choppy camera angles where I had no idea what was going on half of the time. I love the interaction Batman and Joker have with each other but their final fight was very underwhelming. I like the Character development of Harvey dent it makes sense but the ending really does not. The movie also felt quite long and drawn out.
Batman Begins (2005)
Good, but has Flaws.
Interesting backstory of batman and how he became batman. The scene wheres Bruce's parents were murdered lacked emotion and impact. The fight scenes were shot horribly and I had no idea what was going on especially in the final fight against Ra's. Good plot and some decent humor throughout the film. Decent acting.
Spenser Confidential (2020)
Okay
Decent movie. Production isn't great. Didn't develop relationship between spenser and Hawk they are just best friends all of a sudden. Lame ending, decent action.
Joker (2019)
Most Overrated movie of all time.
The acting was good but the film was boring for the most part. Many plot holes and little to no character development. This joker is stupid and no way could be the criminal mastermind that joker is supposed to be. Extremely overhyped and Overrated Movie.
The Departed (2006)
Great.
Good movie solid acting and directing. Has everything to Action, romance and comedy.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Good Movie. Could be better.
Amazing backstory of captain America. The first hour of this movie was amazing but it got slower and than montaged through WW2. Red skull is a pretty forgettable villain and the plot didn't really have that feel of urgency, also the ending could have been better.
1917 (2019)
Good, not great.
Great cinematography and I love the way it was shot. Could have been better the movie could have done a better developing the characters and their relationship. The movie was pretty short and ended pretty abruptly.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Decent Concept, Horrible Execution.
Interesting concept of an invisible man but very poorly executed. Boring movie and very low budget. Also a lot of things do not make sense and had a horrific ending.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Disappointing.
Very poor movie. Called extremely wicked, shockingly evil and Vile but none of that was portrayed in the movie. Poor tone and lack of direction on the plot had and me questioning what the point of the movie was. Decent acting, poor plot and storytelling.
