James Acaster loves recieiving cabbages in his dressing-room before every gig/ TV performance and is known in his home town Kettering as "The Cabadge King". James is well know for buying copious quantities of cabbages and distributing them to his enemies.
On Friday, 21st June 2019 UKTV announced that they had commissioned a second 8-episode series of the panel show to be recorded in late 2019 and broadcast on Dave in early 2020.
Ahead of the broadcast run of series two commencing on Wednesday, 5th February 2020, UKTV's channel Dave announced that they have commissioned Hat Trick to produce a third series of the panel show. The 8-episode third series will be filmed and broadcast later in 2020.
On Monday, 20th December 2021, UKTV announced that it has commissioned an 8-episode fourth series of the theoretical comedy programme to be broadcast on its comedy-orientated channel Dave in 2022.
In June 2023, UKTV officially confirmed that the comedy panel show would not be returning for a fifth series.
