After checking into the hotel/inn that had only one room available, when they leave to grab dinner, Ashley dons a blue quilted jacket. After leaving the bar to return to the hotel, Ashley is not wearing the same jacket; she's wearing a tan pea-coat.
The movie shows them taking two days to drive from San Francisco to Seattle, even though Ashley says she's in a rush. If so, why does she keep making Dash stop? The drive is easily done in one day. In the book, it takes two days because of weather that canceled all the flights; this isn't any sort of issue in the movie.
When she sticks get head out the car window, her hair doesn't blow at ALL.
In the scene with the puppies, all 3 have dark spots, then when she goes to hold one, the puppy appears to have a wiry coat, then she picks a puppy with two fawn spotted eyes (on a white coat) baby. I had to rewind it a couple of times. Not sure how many puppies were used, but they definitely used more than the 3 that are shown together.
They're supposedly driving up the I-5 corridor by all the towns shown on the map, but between Medford & Eugene they're suddenly driving along the coast.
Approximately 20 minutes into the movie, the federal agents are discussing Ashley's location. They say that she left the rental car area at a specific time. They then say that would put her somewhere north of Esparto, so they should check around Vacaville. Vacaville is around 21 miles SOUTH of Esparto on I-505.
They leave Eugene mid-day and arrive in Salem in the pitch dark even though its only about an hour between the two cities.
The map card shows they are in Redding, CA but then Ashley says on the phone to Dash's mom that they are just outside Sacramento. Redding is 2 and a half hours north of Sacramento.
