I love these movies!! Shae and Casey's real-life friendship are evident in their chemistry on screen. The only issue I really have is If anyone were to re-watch the first film however, at the end, you'll see both Kim and Theo with rings on their left hand, indicating that somewhere in the "one year later" they got married. The premise for this second film is pretty much bout the timing of Theo proposing to Kim. And as much as the "just missing each other" irks me, I love that these stories are different from the usual Christmas scripts; I think that's part of the reason why fans love it. Also, did they change the name of the baby from the first movie?? I can't remember :)

Casey Elliott and Shae Robbins are back as Theo and Kim, celebrating their one-year anniversary on Thanksgiving after meeting in 2022's 'Destined at Christmas', perhaps the biggest surprise hit from GAC Family one year ago. It's not often that the sequel is better than the original, but 'Destined 2: Christmas Once More' gives it a real shake. The plot revolves around Theo, who is armed with a wedding ring, looking for the perfect time and place to propose to Kim, which proves to be a more difficult task than Theo imagined.
This is an easy film to watch and enjoy. Nothing ground-breaking, but it's definitely enjoyable. Elliott and Robbins (who is very easy on the eye) are great together - their chemistry is through the roof, and even better than a year ago - and the supporting cast, all returning from the original, are also good. A nice soundtrack, featuring plenty of familiar tunes, and Christmas settings that aren't too garish or over the top. Good festive entertainment all around.
I wonder if we'll all be watching 'Destined 3' in one years' time? Hopefully.

A lot of times when these movies end it leaves us with a feeling of wanting to know what happens next. In this case, we get to see what happens next with Theo and Kim! 2022's "Destined at Christmas" was an unexpected gem and I'm glad GAC decided to give us a sequel.
Now, is the sequel just as good as the original? Well, no, but it IS enjoyable and worthwhile. In this movie, we already have an established couple so we don't get the same dramatic plot points as a couple who's just getting to know each other. The main plot line here is Theo finding the right time to ask Kim to marry him. The two leads still have great chemistry and if you enjoyed the first movie definitely check this one out as well!

This was a fun movie to watch unfold!! The majority of same cast from the original movie developed their characters in this one and I loved that! Unfortuately I could not find the full names other than the lead roles of Shae and Casey. However, Noah and Wexiln who play Hunter and Vickie do a great job in making the story come to life. "Mia" and "Ashley", whose characters also develop more in this sequel, add the antics of children that make this movie believable, funny and heartwarming all at the same time.. Gotta say, the role of Kim's mom calmed down from the original which helped me not be annoyed with "Mom" - Pam Echler is a great actress and I have to give her credit for her ablity to create an "annoying mom" as she nailed it in the first movie--just glad she did not have to fully reprise that again in this sequel! Again, loved this sequel and Thank you to all who made this possible. Thank God for another decent movie that is worth watching and not filled with vulgarity and does not destroy the family unit!

Plot: guy wants to ask the girl to marry him but he loses the ring.
Then, all of the things that can go wrong go wrong. He loses the ring and because he can't find it. Somehow they made a 90 minute movie about this.
Everyone he knows is trying to help him ask the girl to marry him, but everything that you can imagine goes wrong.
Cute movie, it will keep your interest, but it's not the greatest Christmas movie of all times.
Of course, as everyone helps him even more things go wrong, it will keep your interest. You can definitely wrap presents or hang ornaments while this movie plays in the background.

This is such a beautiful and uplifting Family Friendly Romantic Comedy. Such authentic characters and performances by the Cast. The settings also feel right at home along with the high quality cinematography and editing, and background music help to transport you to the story.
Watching this Christmas theme movie in February Valentine's Day only adds to its special charm; that love truly transcends all seasons and can be experienced at any time.
This movie is a great reminder that perfection is not necessary when our heart's desire, intent, and purpose is to love.
Without spoiling the movie it is a wonderful sequel; a very heartfelt story.

Watching this makes me think more romantic movies need sequels. This might be better than the first one. The mystery of not knowing when or where the proposal will happen was fun. It has dramatic tension and some light comedy but it doesn't overwhelm the romance. The romance was done pretty much perfectly.
As for other characters, the brother and sister-in-law now have their baby. I love the progression from the first movie. Having Ashley help them out in her 12 days of Christmas was clever. The ensemble cast is used really well and adds to the cozy feeling of the movie.
I would like to see GAC do at least one more entry to make it a trilogy.
