Based on the novel Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. The novel is inspired by the Old Testament story of the prophet Hosea and his wife, Gomer.
Both Famke Janssen and Eric Dane also star in X-Men 3 (2006). They do not share any scenes in either film.
