Alf and co find themselves down the local. No real plot, just lots of insights from Alf (Warren Mitchell), musings from Gran (Joan Sims), and guest appearances by Jimmy Tarbuck and Kenny Lynch as themselves. Kenny Lynch is the inevitable butt of some unfashionable humour from Alf Grnet. There's also appearances from Rita Webb and Arthur Mullard. Not all that funny really, but still nice to watch.
This episode is notable as being a rare survivor on videotape from the black-and-white TV days. It was shown on BBC 4 in about 2005, where I happened to catch it quite by chance. Not sure if it's available commercially, though.

An extended Easter special. It is very much a time capsule episode showing the pub culture of the 1960s.
Alf, Else, Rita, Mike and Gran are down the pub having sing songs and other musical numbers.
Alf gets upset that a black man gets served before him. Even hurling racial insults towards the man.
Later Alf recognises two celebrities who walk into the pub. They are comedian Jimmy Tarbuck and Australian actor Ray Barrett.
Only Alf has trouble recalling Tarby's name. He also does not realise that the black gentleman the two celebrities have joined happens to be actor and singer Kenny Lynch.
As always Alf hurls some insults. Gran has her pension money stolen by two grifters, who later make off with the money raised for her in a pub whip round.
It is essentially a celebrity special with Lynch and Tarbuck doing a few songs.
