Twice in the opening sequence, Dale (Brooke Shields) slides off the race course on a corner, and the wide view shows her race car hitting a hay bale barricade, but both times in a close-up shot inserted between the long views, her car hits a barricade made of tires.
The German flag seen on two of the cars is upside-down with the gold stripe being on top when it should actually be on the bottom.
Brooke Shields's hairstyle in the film is contemporary to the 1980s when the film was made but is totally out of place for the 1920s setting of the film when she would be more likely to have had a shorter, bob-style haircut.
