After high school, Léone François did an internship at the Cours Florent in Paris, followed by a six-month theater training at the University of Buenos Aires.
From 2010 to 2014 she attended a master's degree in dramatic interpretation at the Institute of Diffusion Arts (IAD) in Louvain-la-Neuve and in 2014 she graduated.
In 2008, in parallel with her studies, she began a theatrical career. With several other students of the IAD, in 2012, she plays in the web-series Typique (2013) broadcast-ed for four seasons on YouTube and then on the platforms of the RTBF.
In 2017, she reprises her role in the web-series adaptation of the play La Théorie du Y (2016). The two seasons of this fiction, which deals with bisexuality, allow her to receive international exposure and win the award for best actress at the 2018 São Paulo Web Fest.
She continues her career in theater while participating in several dramas, for television or film. We find it alongside Michèle Bernier in episode Meurtres à Orléans (2017)... for France 3.
In 2022 she appears in a small role in the horror film Deep Fear (2022).
Léone François is the daughter of the video artist, photographer and visual artist Michel François and the visual artist Ann Veronica Janssens.
