- Chae, a director and producer of Feature Film, VR & Convergence Media, has been living and making films in Korea, USA and China since he encountered his first camcorder at 7 years old. His works span a variety of genres and practices media convergence to bring audiences compelling experiences. Chae's role as a VFX Producer for the Korea-China co-produced blockbuster 'Mr Go' led him to explore the next generation of VFX and 3D technology through working on several Korean and Chinese film productions including Tsui Hark's 'Detective Dee 3: The Four Heavenly Kings', which Chae as Executive VFX supervisor was nominated for Best Visual Effect award at the 55th Golden Horse Awards. More recently, Chae produced a feature documentary 'Children Gone to Poland' which follows the story of North Korean orphans in Poland. He has also directed and designed a VR cinema attraction 'Follow the White Rabbit' (Cannes - Marche Du Film 2017), along with directing and co-producing the Korea-China co-production feature film 'Lapse'.
