Pascal Blais is an Animation Director whose standout creative vision and clear proficiency in communication have left their particular mark on the Canadian Animation industry, winning many outstanding international awards.
Founder and president of Pascal Blais Studios, a company dedicated to producing high-quality animation services for the Film, Tv, and Advertising industry, he was the creative driving force, broadening the range and the excellence of the animation services offered. As Creative Executive Producer, he secured 2 Academy Awards® nominations and won an Oscar® for the year 2000's best animated short film entitled "The Old Man and the Sea" by animation director Alexander Petrov.
After spending 34 years at the helm of his Studio, he sold his company in 2017 to focus on developing Animated Feature Films projects, and in 2019, he becomes Head of the Animation Department at MPC Films in Montreal.
