Danielle Fowler was born in Edmonton, Alberta and lived in Spruce Grove, Alberta before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia. She completed the Professional Makeup Program at the Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver. In addition to her initial makeup training, Danielle has completed courses on Intermediate and Advance Special Effects Makeup, as well seminars on Bondo Transfer, Dragon Skin Silicone and Hair Knotting. Danielle has been an Instructor and Lab Associate at the Blanche MacDonald Centre and is featured on their web site under Makeup Graduate Highlights, Television and Film as "Danielle Aslin".
In 2014, Danielle was nominated for a LEO Award in the Best Make-Up Dramatic Series category for the TV series Arrow episode "Keep Your Enemies Closer" (S2#6).
