Perhaps it’s because Gina Rodriguez seems to have chemistry with just about everyone, which always made it difficult for this Jane the Virgin viewer to decide whether he was #TeamMichael or #TeamRafael. Or perhaps I was just stunned by how electric her scenes were opposite Ramón Rodríguez this week.

This has been the best season of Will Trent, and each episode gets even better.

Spoilers for Will Trent Season 3 Episode 6 indicate that Will investigates a murder with a familiar pattern, forcing him to confront his past and that the killer stays a step ahead of them.

It also looks like the second case will be a serious one since Michael and Angie find a victim with her tongue missing, similar to John Shelley’s last victim 20 years ago.

A report by the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed that San Martin died by suicide.

San Martin appeared as Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives from 2010-2011, where he was featured in 59 episodes of the popular soap opera. San Martin continued his career in the soap sub-genre in 2017 on 16 episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, the same year he acted in the CW’s Jane the Virgin for seven episodes, where he played Fabian Regalo del Cielo alongside Gina Rodriguez.

It’s been a long wait for fans of Will Trent. Season 2 of the popular crime drama had a stunning finale as Will (Ramon Rodriguez) realized that long-time on/off love and best friend Angie (Erika Christensen) had covered up a murder and was forced to arrest her. He then went off on his own.

With ABC deciding to hold Season 3 off until 2025, fans haven’t been sure what to expect. However, we’re getting hints not just in the trailer, but also in an exclusive first look via TVLine!

As the trailer shows, Season 3 starts six months after the Season 2 finale, as Will has dropped off the grid and out of the loop. That changes when Amanda Wagner (Sonja Sohn) tracks him down and demands Will come back for a case involving his own past.

Will Trent star and co-executive producer Ramón Rodríguez teases a tough time ahead for Will and Angie ahead of the show's return. When viewers last caught up with the crime drama, Will (Rodríguez) agrees to turn over Angie Polaski (Erika Christensen) for police misconduct. It's an especially gutting development because, just as the finale was starting, Will was imagining a blissful future with Angie. Speking with TV Insider, Rodríguez shares that Will and Angie won't have an easy go of it for several episodes. The actor says that, eventually, the former couple will get to a better place with each other. 2024 was not a good year for a lot of networks. We said goodbye to some great shows, and we’re still salty about some of the cancellations. There were a couple of ABC shows that we wanted to see more of, especially considering they ended with a shortened season due to the pandemic.

2025 has officially arrived and with the new year ahead, there’s still time to look back on the year that was 2024. It was quite an interesting year for TV fans with the results of the 2023 actors’ and writers’ strikes bleeding into the new year leading to shortened seasons of some of the biggest shows on air and unexpected sendoffs for series that very well could have continued for many more seasons.

When it comes to cancellations, CBS by far had some of the biggest cancellations in broadcast in 2024 bringing a close to so many amazing shows including a handful of shows that very much remained at the top of the leaderboard in viewership. Fans were incredibly vocal about some of the choices CBS made, but The Eye network wasn’t the only network that made some difficult decisions leading to the end of a batch of amazing shows.
