Joaquín Romero, a graduate of Business Administration and Public Accounting, pursues independent study of diverse courses that help him develop his skills, such as "The Psychology of Compelling Storytelling" at UCLA.
He began his executive career at a very young age, becoming involved in international projects with diverse challenges. Previously, he has held various executive positions at Nordex Acciona, focusing on optimizing the supply chain for all wind farms in Latam South. Serving as the liaison with the headquarters (Germany-Spain) with oversight over million-dollar budgets and regional teams.
Currently, he runs his production company "ALTERNA MEDIA" with which he produces "En coma". He also produces "Porque soy grande", a film starring Natalia Oreiro co-directed by Maria Laura Berch "La Sociedad de la nieve". Produced together with Non Stop and Tarea Fina.
In 2024, the prestigious Variety magazine announces "Punta Blanca", an ambitious project created by Joaquín Romero, and presents him as an "up-and-coming writer-producer". Punta Blanca is a mystery murder that features a powerful cast, led by Natalia Oreiro, and co-written with the authors of "El Marginal" and Alejandro Aimetta. Produced together with Ezequiel Olzansky and Nicolás Aznárez.
In parallel, he works as CEO of Mushkana, a clothing brand he created in 2018.
In 2022, after resigning from Nordex, he obtained the representation of Underwave (an Argentine clothing brand) for Uruguay.
In 2023, the international company "Hawkers" entrusts Joaquín to launch their brand in Uruguay. About Hawkers: "In just 3 years, we have revolutionized the sunglasses industry, going from EUR300 in sales to over EUR100,000,000."
Joaquín is currently involved in the production and development of various audiovisual projects, some as a writer-producer and others as a producer.
