Tim Mannion is a producer who has worked in the TV/Film industry since the late 1990s. He produced the hit BBC 1 comedy series Amandaland. He also produced or co-produced three series of Trying for Apple TV+ as well as episodes of the Sister Pictures series, The Baby, for HBO & Sky.
Tim spent the first twenty years of his career as an Assistant Director. His credits include the hit Netflix show, Sex Education, starring Gillian Anderson, the Hat Trick comedy series, Episodes, for Showtime/The BBC written by David Crane & Jeffrey Klarik and starring Matt Le Blanc, the HBO feature film, My Dinner With Hervé starring Jamie Dornan, Peter Dinklage & Andy Garcia, the Kudos/Sky production, Code 404 which starred Daniel Mays & Stephen Graham, and the critically acclaimed BBC TV shows Back To Life, written by and starring Daisy Haggard and There She Goes which won a BAFTA for Jessica Hynes' performance and also starred David Tennant.
Tim has also worked as a Visiting Tutor at The National Film & Television School and as a Screen Skills mentor. Tim graduated in 2000 with a degree in Film & Video from The University of Wales, College Newport and also completed a Media Foundation course at The London College Of Printing in 1996 and the 'Story For Script Development' course from the John Yorke Story Academy in 2020.
