Berkeley James
- Actress
Berkeley James is a young actress from Southern California. A natural at math and an avid reader, Berkeley developed a love for learning early on, never going to bed without reading a book. Alongside her academic pursuits, she is a dedicated member of a competition dance team, which fuels her passion for performance.
Berkeley's journey into acting began at the age of four when a brief glimpse of the movie "Misery" sparked her love for performing. Enthralled by Kathy Bates' iconic line, "You killed my Misery," she began reenacting the scene with dramatic flair, dragging her body across the floor and leaving her family in awe. Her outgoing and spirited personality further fueled her drive to take center stage.
Berkeley's professional acting career took off when her mother's friend, an agent in Texas, encouraged her to submit to agencies, believing she had a special spark. This connection led to her signing with an agent and manager and booking her first significant role on "General Hospital" at the age of five. By the age of eight, she had starred in over a dozen television and film projects.
When Berkeley isn't acting, she devotes herself to creative pursuits, such as drawing and painting, or dedicating time to her dance team. A passionate advocate for marine life, she participates in beach cleanups whenever possible and hopes to use her platform to promote ocean conservation and create a safer, healthier environment for marine life. Berkeley' aspires to continue sharing her talents, both on screen and off, to help make the world a brighter place.
Berkeley is based in Los Angeles and is represented by Osbrink Agency and Jackson Entertainment Management.
