Country’s first health education centre for school kids to come up in Chandigarh by March-end

As Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini lists his govt’s feats, Congress stages walks out

Haryana chief minister (CM) Nayab Saini, however, said that it was the habit of the opposition to make accusations and then walk away. In his long-winding address, spanning nearly three hours, the CM made umpteenth references to actions of previous Congress governments from 2005 to 2014, criticising the party MLAs of not having the gumption to sit in the House and listen to his reply.

Haryana chief minister (CM) Nayab Saini, who was replying to the discussion on the Governor’s address in the state assembly on Thursday, said the national unemployment rate, as per the PLFS report, stood at 6.4%. BJP: Himachal govt not giving satisfactory replies

Heated exchanges were witnessed in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly during the question hour on Thursday as the BJP accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government of not giving satisfactory replies to the questions asked by them.

Per capita income up by 9.6% in Himachal: Economic survey

“There has been a rise in the state’s PCI from ₹87,721 in FY 2011-12 to ₹2.57 lakh in FY 2024-25, registering a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 8.6% over FY 2011-12,” stated the report that revealed that the PCI for FY 2023-24 was ₹2.34 lakh while for the current FY 2024-25, it is estimated at ₹2.57 lakh.

Per Capita Income (PCI) at current prices for FY2024-25 is estimated at <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>2.57 lakh against <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>2.34 lakh in FY2023-24 showing a growth of 9.6 per cent in FY2024-25.
