I'm sure this has been said a lot, but I couldn't put this one down. I wasn't sure what to expect, and it's hard to go too deep without giving spoilers, but the writing has an excellent feminist bite to it that I found extremely relatable at times (there are men in the life of the main character that I honestly feel like I've known/dated/dealt with before, and the author writes about them so accurately that it had me wondering about the experienc ...more

I came for the lush world building and strange murder set-up, and stayed for the two main characters who were so fascinating I wish I could meet them in person.
