Yep, still pretty much team Darkling. This graphic novels offers us a window to the Darkling's origin story. Who is he? Where did he come from? What turned him into what he is today? Thanks to the story of his mother and himself's efforts to lie low, as the only Grisha able to summon the Cut, we can begin to understand him a little more. The art style is beautiful, too. ...more

This book broke my heart, and I'm thankful that it did. A loose reimagining of Pinocchio, ITLOP follows a gang of mismatched misfits as they go on a quest to rescue Giovanni Lawson, main character Victor's father and the one person that ties them together.

Although I must confess that I'm curious about what TJ's uncensored version would've looked like, I nonetheless loved this final copy to bits. It destroyed my heart in more ways than just one, a
