The Folio Prize Shortlist

Aargh - more lists of books to add to my to-read stack! I had a couple of them already, but even so I don't think I'll be able to turn it into a challenge this year. Maybe next year.
Many, many years ago (pre-children) I was a member of the Folio Society and bought a few of their beautifully bound editions - coming by mail from Britain. I think they've all gone to new homes now (along with the hundreds of other books that are dearly departed in the interests of giving myself floor space).

It is given to an English-language book of fiction published in the UK by an author from any country. The
prize was created as a reaction to perceived weaknesses of the Man Booker prize which some saw as
leaning toward popular fiction rather than literary fiction. The winner will be announced on 23 March.
