When Ruby woke up on her tenth birthday, something about her had changed. Something alarming enough to make her parents lock her in the garage and call the police. Chapter 9: (view spoiler)[ I like the plot and the idea of the colors. The powers they represent are a bit confusing and I don't understand them very well. Hopefully we'll get more on them soon. I really didn't like Martin, but is it bad I liked Cate?

I also feel really sorry for Ruby! Sam was the only friend she had and now ...

Chapter 4: (view spoiler)[ This is pretty interesting so far. I assumed she was orange because of what was mentioned of that kid looking at her like they were the same, but I'm not sure if she could be yellow or red. What did those pills do to her? I'm confused as to how they would help her escape. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15: (view spoiler)[ That scene at the store was giving me the creeps! Those boys are worse than Martin. They were the epitome of horny teenagers. I loved the little scene with Ruby and Zu, it was so cute and it helped to relieve me of all the dark stuff going on and the creepiness of the previous scene. The writing is fantastic, but I'm eager for something exciting to happen. (hide spoiler)]

I'm now at chapter 7! (view spoiler)[ hm I kind of got a flash back to the 5th Wave, with camps and marks and such! I'm curious to the doctor that helped her escape, not sure if she can be trusted or not. She seems a little too sweet.. (hide spoiler)]
