I loved the spirit of Lottie, Lady Granfell. She had a traumatic first marriage and that experience put her off any further marriage. Lottie was determined to live for herself. The Duke of Brandon had led a hedonistic life along with his friends in their secret society. However, things were about to change for him, due to his grandmother’s insistence. I loved little Pandora and her mispronounced words, so typical of a young one. Brandon has decided that Lottie is the one for him but will he be able to change her mind? This was an engaging read, very passionate at times but there was humour as well. I’m looking forward to reading the next in this new series. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it.
