A sharp and short story. I like this author's style and this novella packs some tough and touching issues.

One of the things that I really enjoyed is the flower business in a little town that the female character runs. The presence of flowers and nature in people's life, their metaphorical meaning that can be applied to ourselves. It's all well placed in this story about a young couple who plan to spend their lives together, but then they break up and a few years later meet again through his wedding to another woman and her floral business being hired for it.

The exchange of emails is fun and harsh. It opens up a can of worms about their past and their lingering feelings. It's got some hot times, a plot twist and a hopeful ending. I liked this summer entertainment.
