Say 3.5. Two stories, “The Shadowy Street” and “The Mainz Psalter,” are, as others have noted, very good tales of weird, uncanny kinda/sorta cosmic horror. Other stories are fine, but if you’ve read other 20th century pulpy horror writers, nothing here will surprise you but you will enjoy it. Recommended, sure, but don’t pay collector prices! Unless you’re like me and have wanted this edition for decades…
