This book has a dual timeline. One being when Rachel and Adam met at a bar and their friendship over the years. The other timeline starts out with "the hangover" vibes. Rachel wakes up with no recollection of what happened the night before. She hears a man in the shower and doesn't remember how she got to the hotel room she's in. She finds out that her and Adam got hitched the night before. Instead of getting an annulment, the two decide to stay together for the extra military benefits.

I could not put this book down. The MMC, Adam, gave me butterflies. The tattoo parlor scene 😍. This book brought out all of the emotions,  i was giggling at times and crying at others. Although this book was closed door romance, I felt the chemistry and steam throughout this whole book.  ❤️‍🔥 And did I mention the killer playlist? I'm a sucker for a good playlist, and this one was amazing!

I haven't read any of the other books from this series, but after reading and enjoying this so much, I plan to go back and read the others! Although, it's going to be hard to beat this MMC. 🫶

I definitely recommend you pick this book up!
