It's a no from me @12%. I'm getting flashbacks to The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, another hyped slow burn book that I also abandoned at around 10%. There is absolutely nothing that is making me want to read further and I'm not going to force myself to, I really don't care for the slow burn historical fiction vibe this has. I may try this again in the future, but right now I'm not feeling it at all.
